Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumi
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas (whole wheat or regular)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach or lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, for squeezing

Instructions
 

  • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips.
  • Combine chicken with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and sauté the marinated chicken strips for about 7-10 minutes until cooked through.
  • Prepare tortillas by laying them flat and adding fresh spinach or lettuce, avocado slices, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, place it on top of the veggies in the tortilla and squeeze lime juice over it.
  • Wrap the tortilla tightly by folding in the sides and rolling from the bottom.
  • Slice the wraps in half for presentation and serve immediately.

Notes

You can prepare chicken in advance and store in the fridge for quick lunches throughout the week. Feel free to substitute proteins or add more veggies as desired.
