Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by patting the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Swirl the pan to ensure even distribution of the butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Spoon the melted garlic butter over the chicken frequently as it cooks.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Choose chicken breasts of consistent thickness for even cooking. Prep your ingredients before you start cooking to minimize stress. For a deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken prior to cooking.
