  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Prepare the rhubarb: Rinse and chop rhubarb into 1-inch pieces.
  • Combine ingredients: In a saucepan, add rhubarb, sugar, and water, stirring well.
  • Heat it up: Place over medium heat, bringing to a gentle boil while stirring occasionally.
