Ingredients

  • 4 large fresh ripe peaches
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  • Wash the peaches thoroughly, peel them, remove the pits, and cut them into slices.
  • In a blender, combine the peach slices, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Blend on high until smooth.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a shallow baking dish or zip-top bag, cover, and place in the freezer.
  • Let it freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid. Stir halfway through for even texture.
  • Once frozen, scoop into bowls and serve immediately, garnishing with fresh mint or peach slices if desired.

Notes

Use perfectly ripe peaches for the best flavor. For easier peeling, blanch peaches briefly. Adjust sugar based on peach ripeness. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
