Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Grill Pan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Knife and Cutting Board
  • Spatula

Materials

  • 2 medium chicken breasts or thighs, boneless & skinless
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or blend
  • 4 large flour tortillas or whole wheat
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 medium tomato thinly sliced
  • 0.5 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup garlic aioli ranch, or yogurt sauce for spreading

Instructions

  • Marinate Chicken
In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for maximum flavor).
  • Cook Chicken
Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  • Prepare Tortillas
Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Spread a thin layer of garlic aioli (or chosen sauce) over each tortilla.
  • Assemble Wraps
Add lettuce, tomato slices, onions, and chicken strips. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
  • Melt & Seal
Fold tortilla tightly into a wrap. Place back on the skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melty.
  • Serve
Slice wraps in half, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy version, add jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce before folding.
Whole wheat tortillas or lettuce wraps can be used for a healthier, low-carb option.
These wraps are make-ahead friendly—store cooked chicken in the fridge for up to 3 days.
