Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika optional
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim excess fat from chicken breasts. Pound to an even thickness.
  • Brush chicken with olive oil.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and optional spices.
  • Place chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet or greased dish.
  • Bake uncovered for 18–22 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from oven and let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve.

Notes

For extra juiciness, tent chicken with foil halfway through baking.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
