Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Hot Cheetos, crushed
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1, beaten Egg
  • ¾ cup Buttermilk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 8 Mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half
  • 8 Wooden skewers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your frying oil by heating it in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, cornstarch, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the beaten egg and buttermilk together.
  • Combine the wet and dry mixtures until you have a smooth batter, adding more buttermilk if necessary.
  • Insert wooden skewers into each mozzarella stick halfway.
  • Dip each mozzarella stick into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Roll the battered sticks in crushed Hot Cheetos until fully coated.
  • Carefully drop each corn dog into the hot oil, frying for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove and let drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
