Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, add garlic, and sauté for about a minute. Stir in the honey and lemon juice, and allow to simmer.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets skin-side down. Brush the honey butter glaze over the top.
  • Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork, basting halfway through with leftover glaze.
  • Remove from oven, drizzle with remaining glaze and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use fresh salmon for the best flavor. For a crispy skin, consider starting the salmon skin-side down on a hot skillet before baking. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
