Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamo
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the fresh blackberries and granulated sugar. Toss gently to coat and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Transfer the blackberries to a baking dish and spread evenly. Include the juice from the berries.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the blackberries, covering completely.
  • Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added texture, consider layering crushed graham crackers or cookies between the fruit and crumble. Let cool longer for enhanced flavor.
