Materials

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 1 oz ranch seasoning 1 packet
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 6–8 bacon slices Cooked and crumbled
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth Optional, for thinning sauce
  • 2–3 green onions Sliced, optional garnish
  • salt & pepper To taste

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  • Cube and add the cream cheese on top.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
  • Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the crockpot.
  • Stir to mix with the melted cream cheese and juices.
  • Add crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Cover and let cook for an additional 10–15 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve as desired (e.g., on buns, over pasta, or with rice).
